Parenting in the 21st Century

Consider joining a small group at Blue Ridge Presbyterian during October and November at 7pm on Wednesday evenings. Pastor Jay Sanderford will lead us as we explore the nitty-gritty stuff of parenting children in this crazy age, using the ACTIVE PARENTING curriculum, a proven and effective program that stresses respect, cooperation, communicaiton, sharing values and trust.

Join a group of parents for five sessions exploring parenting children and teens for confidence, responsibility, cooperation, positive and faithful living. Sessions will meet for 90 minutes on Wednesday evenings at the church beginning October 15th and ending in mid November. Contact Jay Sanderford 434-985-8820 for more information. Youth Group: Middle and High Schoolers meet approx twice a month for fun and fellowship. Our pastor, Jay Sanderford is an experienced youth leader with over 20 years of experience in building youth ministry. Check the Calendar for events.

Sunday School 9:45 am for Children, Youth and Adults

Sunday School classes will begin at 9:45 and end at 10:45. Special Focus classes will be intergenerational. All other class sessions will be broken down into groups by age:

1st Session – September 14 through November 23
2nd Session – Special Focus classes November 30 through December 21
Vacation Break – No Sunday School December 28 and January 4
3rd Session – January 11 through March 29
4th Session – Special Focus classes April 5 through April 19
5th Session – April 26 through June 14
