Sundays at Blue Ridge

Our first service starts at 8:28 a.m. It's a little shorter than the 11 o'clock service and a little more informal. After that you'll smell fresh coffee and people will buzz around our worship space and entry getting ready for Sunday School at 9:45, in our "Lighthouse" a temporary classroom space.

Sunday School ends at 10:30. As some head out, and others begin arriving for the 11 o'clock service. There is more fellowship among the adults and kids often head outside to play. With 12 acres, we have a great outdoor space for kids!

At 11 o'clock our second service starts, with fellowship time following. We offer a nursery at the 11 am service with Miss Pat. Children up thru 2nd grade may join her after the children's sermon for children's church. We hope you'll join us as we our faith community grows. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month. Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is welcome to receive communion with us.

The History of BRPC

Music

Kris Cushman  is Music Director at BRPC, and leads the Ensemble. Music is a vibrant part of worship, aided by the new Nordiska grand piano that the congregation purchased through a very successful "buy a key" fundraiser.

Kris is an accomplished pianist and accompanist. She has a B.S. in Math, with a minor in Music, and a M.S. in Counselor Education from the University of Wisconsin. In addition to teaching in her private studio, Kris accompanies the Piedmont Virginia Community College Chorus.

Our vocal Ensemble welcomes everyone with a love for singing. No experience needed! Please check the calendar for rehearsal times.
