Presbyterian Women

At Blue Ridge all women are invited to meet the second and third Sunday afternoons from 4-5:30 from September to June. There you'll find a diverse group of women that come together for support to juggle busy lives; prayer to get through the days; fellowship; and a lesson to sustain!

The second Sunday of the month is our Bible Study, this year our study is An Abiding Hope:The Presence of God in Exodus and Deuteronomy, by Janice Catron.

The third Sunday each month is reserved for a fellowship event. We are starting a prayer shawl ministry that encourages women to knit a prayer shawl, which will then be passed along to someone in need during cancer or other medical treatment, or during times of stress or grief.

Presbyterian Women (PW) is an independent organization within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) of more than 300,000 women. The programming and resource options for the organization offer a variety of ways for women to live out their faith in an inclusive, caring community.

All women of the church are Presbyterian Women! In addition to the monthly study group, we take part in various mission projects and collections in support of women and children worldwide.
